Seaside Social is the musical vision of songwriter and artist Dean Sprankling, emerging from the coastal town of Worthing, England. Blending indie-pop shimmer with alt-folk grit, Seaside Social crafts bold, melodic songs built to stir the heart. Guitars, piano, strings, and brass weave effortlessly through dynamic percussion, all lifting vocals that carry emotional weight and honesty.

Rooted in themes of love, loss, and redemption, Seaside Social offers listeners a journey that is both deeply reflective and quietly uplifting.

The project has earned wide recognition, with multiple plays on BBC Introducing, Radio Wigwam, and Amazing Radio. In 2025, Dean signed a publishing deal with BMG Music, making eleven Seaside Social tracks available for commercial use across film, television, advertising, and video games.

Seaside Social also stepped onto the live stage in 2025, including performances in London and New York, supporting the release of their friend and novelist Susan Buttenwieser’s book Junction of Earth & Sky. As a creative challenge, Dean set out to write a song capturing the novel’s spirit. The result, “Junction of Earth and Sky,” will appear on an EP scheduled for release in early 2026.
